Money Can't Buy..

It is no new fact that my little sister can make me smile, no matter how bad a day I am having. I remember the day I found out my Mum was pregnant, it feels like only yesterday! I can't believe how fast she has grown up and how absolutely hilarious she is! We decided it would be fun to take some photos as it was one of those (all too often) lazy days. I thought I'd share some of the photos we took as she looks absolutely gorgeous!

Watermelon Anyone?

If you're looking for an easy way to get that five a day, here it is! I love nail art, especially in the summer! After looking through Tumblr, I found a really bright and summery watermelon design. To re-create the look, I used some nail art pens from RIO and a Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint as a base.

I had already painted my nails in Hi shine Gel effect Nail Paint - Prickly Pear (£3.99) which had started to chip, adding a nail art design to the end of your nails is a perfect way to save that nail polish.

By adding a green semi-circle a few black dots with some blue and yellow detail, I was able to make my previous polish last that little bit longer and save time instead of removing it all and re-painting.

Let me know what you thought of this nail design!

TONI&GUY Lifesaver Products!

We all get those days where our hair needs that extra bit of TLC and our usual shampoo/conditioner routine just doesn't cut it. I have never really been one to care about hair products, I have always been one for the skin care or makeup products. My sister has the most gorgeous hair and it always looks amazing. I started thinking to myself why do I not have the same healthy looking hair and i realised, I don't look after it like she does!

I decided after much consideration to purchase the Toni&Guy Nourish Conditioner for Dry Hair 250ml (£5.99) and the Toni&Guy Cleanse Shampoo for Damaged Hair 250ml (£6.49). Although these products are a little more on the pricier side, there was a three for two offer on at Boots so I also purchased the Toni&Guy Creative Extreme Hold Hairspray 250ml (£6.99)

First off, how sleek is the design of the TONI&GUY product range? As soon as you hit the haircare isle, you can't help but notice the classy look of these products. I went for the TONI&GUY brand as they first off, look extremely professional. I feel that the products look like they mean business. The minimalistic design allows you to focus on the information, simply what it is and what it does. No fancy distractions

On first use I felt the texture of my hair to feel much more softer and healthier, no brittle ends or dried out look. As a girl with naturally curly hair, I feel my hair can often look frizzy with no moisture. I never usually leave my hair curly because of this, however, after using this duo, the curls look sleek, moisturised and full of volume. I have also found that straightening my hair after using these products is much more of an easier and quicker process.

The product itself is light and silky, a little goes a long way for sure! I have found that whilst using this products I have not had a dull hair day, the products really do give you a healthy shine. I am really happy with them and will definitely be re-purchasing the duo.

If you have tried these products, let me know what you thought!

Bourjois Beauty'full Volume Dark Khol Mascara

I have always had a difficult relationship with mascara, or should I say my eyelashes. I have never had long curly lashes, even with an eyelash curler, they don't look much better. Because of this I have never enjoyed using mascara as it just seemed to weigh my lashes down even more. I had recently tried a Bourjois mascara and it seemed to be the best I had tried in terms of curling and elongating my lashes. Because of this I decided to try the Bourjois Beauty'full Volume Dark Khol mascara (£7.99) to see if it had the same effect.

I am so glad I stuck with Bourjois as this is the best mascara I have ever tried. The end of the wand is so unique to anything I have tried before, it allows you to reach every lash with the multiple angle options. I have found that I don't get any clumps with this brush which I usually get on my lower lashes, I feel the formulation of the mascara itself is right on target. The formula itself is not thick yet it still obtains that black Kohl effect without needing numerous layers. The design of this product is beautiful, it reminds me of the 60's with the black and white check. The definition obtained when using this mascara is exactly what I wanted and it lasts all day without that horrible flaking you get with some mascaras. One of the main reasons I have never enjoyed wearing mascara was due to the stubborn removal at the end of each day, however, I did not experience this with this product. The product is easy to remove therefore no harsh rubbing or lash pulling is needed!

If you have tried this product let me know what you thought!

Outfit Of The Day ft. My Best Friend!

It has been said that everlasting friends go long periods of time without speaking and never question the friendship. These friends pick up like they just spoke yesterday, regardless of how long it has been or how far away they live, and they don't hold grudges. They understand that life is busy, and that love is always there.

Having finished university for the summer, I have had lots of time to catch up with friends and relax. One of my closest friends Emily was kind enough to let me practise my make-up skills on her! We tried to re-create a look worn by Cara Delevingne with a coral lip and a blue waterline. Emily has such great skin so it was really easy to create a glowing look. Because the lips are bold, we decided to go for a light brown shadow to contour the crease before adding the blue shadow to the waterline. we put a small amount of white liner on the inside of the eye duct and then finished the look with a black mascara.

Emily wore a gorgeous multi coloured camis top paired with some jeggings and leather cut-out boots. For the hair, Emily did absolutely nothing! she is blessed with naturally amazing hair.

Let me know what you thought of this look and if you'd like a tutorial!

B. Stunning Limited Edition Vibrant Eye Shimmer*

I have never been one for the bright eye shadows, however, this colour is absolutely gorgeous. This is the B. Sunning Limited Edition Vibrant Eye Shimmer in Tropic (£6.99). A gorgeous and highly pigmented minty green, perfect for summer. I was in awe when I first saw this colour, and the product design is so beautiful. I can't believe how well priced this product is, it looks so luxury. As you have probably heard blue is in this summer and this is a great product to start off the trend with.

This product is extremely long lasting and easily blends with other colours, as you can see above. This colour would be absolutely perfect for a summer day or even a summer night. I love the consistency of the product, although it is creamy, it has such a bright pigmentation so a little product goes a long way! This shade is perfect for that transition from brown smokey eyes to bright summer looks.
