Mac 'N' Cheese Addiction

I am not lying when I say that I have an addiction to Mac N Cheese. What has made it worse is that I found an all new favourite, Mac N Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork in it. I have had this dish at a local restaurant, Hickories, about a million times now, it's so tasty! My friends and I decided to go for lunch to have a catch up and chat about what is going on in each others life. Hickories make the best milkshakes so, I was easily pleased!

The best part of lunch was the naughty but very tasty dessert! Toasted marshmallows and melted chocolate! I think I experienced my first food coma in this place, the food is just too good.

I Do Believe In Fairies

Just thought I would share a few photos of my little sister. She had an audition for a theatre production of Peter Pan and she was auditioning for the role of Tinkerbell. She looked so cute in her outfit and her hair was done up in a gorgeous little bun! The dress she was wearing was actually mine from a trip to Disneyland when I was younger! The weather was so perfect, not a cloud in the sky. I hope it stays like this all summer, fingers crossed/!

Room Tour

So I've finally been back to Leeds to pick up all my things and lug it all back to north wales. It feels so surreal that the first year of university has been and gone. I didn't realise how much, how should I put it, crap I had accumulated over my first year! I had also left a basket of washing to be done. ooops. Now that I am home and have unpacked everything, I thought I would share a few photos of my room and do the classic "room tour" tag. I am really happy with my room, there are lots of little bits that make me smile!

Let me know what you thought of my room! If you'd like to know more leave me a comment!

#WhatILoveAboutMyself

There comes a time in everyone's life where we are told or hear of a negative comment concerning the way we look, the way we act or in some cases, the way we don't act. I have been in many situations throughout my life whereby someone has said something discouraging or negative about me and it really can set you back physically and mentally. For example, I used to hate how pale my skin was, all of my friends would have a lovely tan and I'd get the odd comment saying "you need to get out into the sun" shock horror is the people saying these things quite clearly didn't understand that I just don't tan all that easily and that's just the way my skin is. Now, I don't mind being pale, in fact, I love it! It's the same with my acne, I can moan about it all I want, or I can accept it and look at the bigger picture.

My point is that there are so many things that we wish we could change and if we let them, they can takeover our lives. We tend to ignore the many positive things about ourselves and fail to celebrate the good, because of a few things we don't like. I started this blog as an escape to express myself and create a place where other people, like myself, can read about other products and treatments so that ultimately, they feel better about themselves.

I have come up with a small campaign of sorts in order to celebrate and promote what we love about ourselves. At the end of the day, we can spend all day wanting to change ourselves, or we can spend all day doing what makes us happy and celebrating the good in order to cancel out the negative. I'm asking all of my followers, bloggers & friends to use the hashtag and spread the word so that we can celebrate our flaws together. Tweet it, Instagram it, Blog it, Facebook it, do whatever it takes to spread the word. Whether it be your features, your personality or your talents, tell everyone what you love and be proud.

All Grown Up

It feels like only yesterday I was getting all dressed up and ready for my end of school prom. I can't believe how fast time has passed and how much has changed over the past 19 years. As the oldest child, I have been able to watch my two little sisters grow up, especially my youngest sister Isabel who is still in primary school! It feels so odd to see my not so little sister, Chloe all dressed up and sophisticated, leaving school!

Chloe looked absolutely beautiful, everything was perfect. She chose such a gorgeous and classy dress and her hair and makeup was immaculate, as usual. It is so fulfilling to see her so happy and getting where she wants to go. She has turned out to be such a smart young lady and although we disagree hugely on a lot of things, I am extremely proud of her and know she will go so far in life.

I have attached a few photos of the night, most of them are of Chloe and her best friend Tamara who also looked stunning. Before I turn round I'll be posting photos of Isabels prom!
