After my mad escapade trying to get hold of MACS Velvet Teddy, I went shopping in search for an alternative. I came across the Maybelline Color Drama Lipsticks. I usually wear a lipliner all over my lip with no lipstick so the kohl concept was an instant winner for me. I find that pencils that you can sharpen are much easier to apply as lipsticks can often become blunt. 

I wanted to find a shade similar to Velvet Teddy, however, when I got home it seemed to look completely different to what i'd tried in the shop! Never the less, I still love the shade. The gorgeous  red-toned plum shade is perfect for christmas, I will definitely be getting good use over the holiday period. In terms of application the product is extremely creamy and glides on with ease. The colour pay off is great and lasts for a decent amount of time. I think the pigmentation is perfect and gives your lips a vintage velvet finish. 

I would really like to try some other shades in this range as they seem to be handy pieces in my makeup kit. Exceptionally easy to apply and beautiful colour pay off, happy Sophie.

This beautiful perfume was a gift for my birthday. My boyfriend is amazing at finding new scents, he is definitely the best present buyer in the relationship! If you're not already falling in love with the bottle, the smell will definitely draw you in. This perfume is absolutely gorgeous, the gold finish really does represent exactly how this perfume makes you feel. 

The fragrance has top notes of bergamot and orange blossom, which is one of my absolute faves. Orange blossom reminds me so much of spa products, it's beautiful. Heart notes include white flowers and musk, timeless scents which always smell good. To finalise the product there are base notes of leather and wood. If you read my previous post, I express my love for leather, it truly is one of the best scents!! But fear not, the smell of leather and wood is at bay and not overpowering. 

If you're looking for a Christmas gift, this would be perfect for any age, it really is a lovely product. The gold hardware gives the product a rich and sleek touch which would look brilliant wrapped, or more suited, not. I will for sure be repurchasing as I have become addicted, I find myself sniffing the lid continuously throughout the day! I have the 50ml which is a good sized bottle, it will last a while as  the smell stays prominent all day. For me, this pops into my handbag perfectly but there are smaller bottles available if you feel it is too big!

I first heard about the company NueVue in Cosmopolitan magazine. What caught my eye was the ability to reduce the bacteria found on your phone by 99.9%. This is amazing as the bacteria on your phone can be extremely blemish inducing. 

It's no secret that I love leather, real or faux. Both the smell and look of leather is gorgeous which makes this product perfect for me. Made with 100% genuine napa leather, this product has a gorgeous finish. I love the bright pink as it allows me to locate my phone from the deep, dark depths of my handbag. 

Another great aspect of this case is the ability to charge the phone whilst the case is on. I find that this makes on-the-go charging super quick and easy. Because of the strong materials used, I have no doubt that my phone is in good hands. The phone sits tightly within the case so I have no worries about it slipping out onto the floor and cracking. touch wood. 

Now lets get down to the main attraction, this case cleans your phone. Yes, I did say cleans. The interior of the case is covered in microfibers which actively clean your phone, goodbye jawline pimples! It's easy to forget to clean things such as your phone so a case like this is one less weight off my shoulder. I have seen a reduction in blemishes on my skin which is always a plus! I hate the thought of all the germs that were able to pass onto my skin in the past. I also love how there are no smudey finger prints on the screen, there's a clean cut look to my phone now. 

This would make a fab Christmas present for all ages, there is such a wide range of colours and materials available so there is something for everyone. NueVue also create cases for iPads which is great for students who take their tablets to university. I would definitely suggest trying this case, if not for the antibacterial benefits, it looks absolutely beautiful.

THE ULTIMELT | Soap & Glory

There's something about Soap & Glory products that makes me extra happy. The brand have such gorgeous packaging with a retro feel. In this clean cut tube, you will find The Ultimelt Deep Purifying Hot Cloth Cleanser. In terms of price this product will set you back £10, however, buying from boots always gets you points which is an advantage. 

The cleanser is great for removing make-up and really does give your skin that refreshed feel. I love using hot cloths, however, I find it a pain to rewash so prefer using cotton pads. The product has a thick texture to it but goes on so smoothly. I don't feel you really need a lot of product for each use. 

Above all this, I don't think the product is hugely amazing. It does it's job but i didn't experience anything fabulous whilst using it. I still haven't finished the tube but will keep for future sake. In terms of repurchasing, you can probably already guess it's a no for the mean time! Especially with the £10 price tag. I would definitely say it's a more now and then product.
