So, I have a love-hate relationship with my bottom lashes. I love applying mascara to them, but I hate how clunky many of the mascaras are. I decided to go on the hunt for a mascara with a smaller wand to make application that little bit easier. I found that NYX offered a Skinny Mascara and so the deal was settled after falling in love with their foundation.
I am really quite pleased with this product, it makes mascara application less of a hassle. I have really weird lashes that aren't too long and tend to head in the opposite direction to that the are meant to. Having a smaller wand has proved to be better in terms of precision, it's so much easier to apply without getting smudges on the skin. The wand allows for even application and helps avoid any clumps. I like the formulation of the product, it's jet black and only needs one application so it's also very time consuming. I don't use this mascara on the top lashes, however, if they begin to clump this mascara brushes through them nicely. It takes a little getting used to as it feels like a different technique, the feel and effect of the product is not like the usual full sized wands. I am finding that my bottom lashes are much evenly spread and I think that is again due to the ability to control the product more than your average mascara.
All in all, I think this is a really useful tool to have in your kit. It's perfect for your bottom lashes as well as de-clumping your top lashes or merely evening them out. I am definitely happy about this purchase!
