Look at me acting like a fashion blogger! I have only ever done one post in the past about an outfit and I enjoyed it so much I thought I would have another go. I find fashion blogging to be so much harder in terms of photography as you have to set up the camera, pose for the camera and also take the photo. WHAT! I eventually got the hang of the whole thing and this is the outcome. For a first try on my own, I'm satisfied! 

I commute to university and I found the mornings were becoming uncomfortably chilly. I decided it was time to search for the perfect coat and I've found it. I was so happy to find this coat in New Look, its so comfy and warm! I love how casual it is and it literally can be thrown on top of any outfit and look good! I also appreciated the student discount which made this bad boy only £26! It's such a bargain seems as my last coat was £80+. shivers at the amount spent on clothing. Okay, £80 can get you a decent coat, I think coats are an investment and can last years if picked carefully, however, this coat is perfect and for the price I was over the moon. I like how it's such a laid back, casual style, yet it has such a smartness to it. 

I was in university when I wore this outfit so it was the everyday casual Joni Jeans (jeans owned by 99.9% of the country) and a basic Zara tee. For the shoes I chose to wear my lace ups because I am in love with them and tend to live in them nowadays. Although, I must admit I have started to feel the chill so must purchase some ankle boots ASAP.

The weather is finally getting nicer and that means it's acceptable to bringing out the summer wardrobe. I had been invited to a friends for a birthday celebration and so felt a new outfit was in order. I decided to go for a denim pencil skirt and an off shoulder top. I love this combination it's so summery and it's really comfy too! I had ordered some gladiator shoes but they didn't fit right, it was a sad moment to send them back. The skirt did not come with a belt but I added one to finish off the look. Let me know what you think! I think this skirt will definitely be a staple piece for me this summer!

Outfit Of The Day

Well hello there my lovelies, I hope you are all well! Thought I would post my first outfit of the day! I am off to work today and had some time spare before hand.

I got this dress a couple of months ago from New Look however, I don't think they still sell it, the nearest I could find was this  Cream Bird Print Shirred Waist Sleeveless Dress (£12.99).  I love the pattern on this dress it has a sort of vintage feel to it. 

The belt I am wearing did not come with the dress, originally it had a black faux leather belt with studs all the way around but I use this light brown/beige one for work.

My necklace and earrings are both from Primark! I love primark jewellery, it's inexpensive and looks great. All I would say though is choose wisely in primark because some items can be rather .. breakable? 

 

I wanted to choose a statement necklace with this outfit to give it some life, It adds that modern feel to the vintage/retro style dress. 

The 3 rings on top all came together and they are also from Primark.  They do leave that green sort of tinge on your skin if you wear them for too long but give them a quick paint with a clear nail varnish and that will stop the colour change on your skin. 

The rings on the bottom are both from Pandora. I love Pandora, the rings both go so well together, they were a present from my Nan, She has such a good eye for accessories.
