Rimmel // Match Perfection Review

Finding the perfect foundation can be a long and bumpy road from the day you start wearing makeup, to the day you feel like you know what you're actually doing! As a pale girl, I have probably been through every foundation on the market trying to find my perfect shade and coverage. I often find myself left unsatisfied with foundations and annoyed that the shade is not right or the coverage isn't strong enough. Many of the pale foundations on the market often turn an orange tone once they oxidise which is not a flattering look. As I have acne scarring on my skin, I like to be confident that my foundation will leave my skin even and concealed to the point where I'm not worrying about the redness.

I really like the formulae of this foundation. It is the lightest shade, however, it is still a tad too orange so I mix it with my white Illamasqua foundation to get the right tone. The product is extremely bendable and leaves a dewy finish to the skin. The coverage of this foundation is perfect after applying my collection 2000 concealer, they work really well together. To apply the foundation I use a flat Clinique foundation brush which gives a flawless finish. For the price I think you get a really nice amount of product and the packaging comes in a lovely glass bottle. Over all I would say I was happy with this foundation and will be repurchasing, I just wish they had lighter shades!
