RIVER ISLAND: My top picks for a beach look

So, it's nearing the summer holidays and there are some amazing buys up for grabs in the high-street stores. I thought I would jump straight into the deep-end with my first post. I have chosen to create a beach look from one of my favorite shops; River Island 

1: GREEN HAWAIIAN PRINT BUSTIER BIKINI TOP (£16) 

I am completely in love with this bikini, It really does have that tropical kind of feel to it while also incorporating that retro/vintage style. 

2, BEIGE WOVEN CONTRAST TRIM BEACH TOTE BAG (£35)

This bag is just the right size for a beach bag in order to fit all your beauty and sun essentials. The classic woven beach bag has had a modern make over, creating a beautiful accessory for your summer adventures. 

3, GOLD TONE TRIBAL DETAIL CUFF (£10)

This cuff is perfect for adding that little bit of tribal glamour to your casual beach wear with out creating an over the top look.

4, GREEN HAWAIIAN PRINT CUT-OUT BIKINI BOTTOMS (£12)

Just like the matching bustier bikini top, the bottoms continue the tropical theme. with a high wasted cut, these bikini bottoms are perfect for creating that effortless vintage beach look.

5, CREAM PACHA BEADED WRAP KIMONO (£60)

Although this is not specifically river island, I had to include it. It is just what you need when looking for a light cover up. The embellishment and attention to detail on this piece makes it brilliant.

6, GOLD TONE COIN ANKLET (£8)

This anklet has a very roman feel to it. It can be adjusted so do not fear! Just as the gold tone cuff, it adds that little bit of glam without being to full on. 

7, BEIGE METAL T BAR SANDALS (£30)

These sandals can be mixed with so many of your summer outfits. They are straight forward yet incorporate a gold bar at the front for that eye catching effect.

8, SILVER TONE EMBELLISHED CAT EYE SUNGLASSES (£15)

I absolutely love love love these sunglasses. They are just fabulous. The embellishment on these sunnies makes them a must have for festivals or summer holidays. They also create a some what retro feel.
