This is my second simply cook recipe out of the four. There is something about the packaging and presentation of this product that really motivates you to cook. The easy to follow recipe and provided spices/sauces give the food a really great taste and it is so inexpensive at the same time. I chose to cook firecracker chicken as to put it simply, I love noodles, and I love chicken. This recipe was so easy to prepare and took no time to cook. The tear off ingredient list makes it easy to shop for what you need whilst also allowing you to manipulate the recipe. For example; I left out lettuce, radishes and Blood Orange. This was either down to me disliking the ingredient or being unavailable in the shop. This recipe was so tasty, the noodles were perfect and the chicken tasted AMAZING. I can't wait to try the next recipe!

BIKINI TOP//MONKI

This bikini was a nightmare to buy! constantly going going in and out of stock. As soon as I saw that my size was available, I grabbed my card and ordered. I love the design of this bikini and also the shape. As a girl with smaller cleavage, I felt this bikini really suited my body shape and size. Unlike traditional bikinis, this one fastened at the front which made it easy to put on/take off. The only think I would change would be the straps, they weren't adjustable which would have made the fitting better. I am so glad I managed to purchase this piece, it was perfect for lying in the sun or dipping in and out the pool! They also have a few other designs with really interesting backs. I purchased mine off ASOS, however, Monki do have an online store with amazing sales!

 

Boho Vibes

DRESS / BOOHOO

Editing these photos made me extremely unhappy about the UK weather! However, this dress is absolutely beautiful. I had to stop myself wearing this every day whilst in Portugal! The light material makes this dress perfect for the hot weather or beach days. I love boho style fashion so as soon as I saw this dress, I had to purchase it. I like the weightless and flowing feel this outfit gives you, much like the boho mentality. The black floral embroidery is beautiful, giving the dress just enough detail. I love the cut out shoulders, perfect for hot weather! I hope to find more outfits like this on the high street soon, I can't get enough of this boho trend. 

 

Coral Love

LIP PAINT / BARRY M (SHADE - PEACH)

Coral works really well for me, I think it can really compliment pale skin just as well as tanned skin. Just before my holiday I decided to head to Boots and purchase this gorgeous Barry M Lip Paint. The first thing I noticed with this product is the pigmentation, it is so bold and only requires one application. I always worry about getting dry lips when wearing a lipstick however, I can safely say I didn't experience this when wearing the product. The product lasts during the day and only requires the odd top up to refresh the colour.  I loved this Lip Paint on holiday, I think that coral is perfect for both summer days and night. I will definitely be trying more shades from this range!

 

It's All About The Lashes*

I've never had long, thick eyelashes. I have always had to rely on falsies to get that fuller look. When I received  a pair of lashes from Superdrug, I couldn't wait to try them out and see how impressive this product was. 

LASHES / SUPERDRUG

First off, the price of these lashes are amazing, £3.43! The quality and look of these lashes is perfect. As a contact lens wearer, I am happy to be assured that these are totally safe to use, something that isn't always made clear on other brand packaging. The lashes felt light and stayed on all night, the glue wasn't tacky so when I removed the lashes, I was able to keep them for re-use in the future. The glue dried completely transparent and wasn't clumpy, a characteristic I find way to often with some lashes. I am so impressed with this product, for a girl with quite small eye-lids, I didn't think the lashes were over powering. A most definite re-purchase.
